Patent Litigation PSL - 12 month FTC

Our client is a very high profile, award winning full service law firm, whose clients tend towards IP rich brands and businesses in the science, technology, entertainment, fashion, and manufacturing sectors.

The firm is the "go-to" for companies with valuable intellectual property assets, and aids clients in their exploitation and protection. The firm's patent litigation team is consistently ranked in the top tier in all major directories, and the team members possess combined technical expertise covering all the major scientific and engineering disciplines, with an unrivalled depth and breadth of litigation experience.

The successful candidate will be working on an ongoing project by compiling materials, researching and analysing the position of local law in different jurisdictions, and drafting and reviewing responses to questionnaires.

Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate:

• Most likely 4+ years' post-qualification experience in patent litigation.
• Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales, or another commonwealth jurisdiction (such as Australia and/or New Zealand, for instance)
• A solid knowledge of the Patent law
• Strong foundational legal skills, including attention to detail, researching, drafting, and project management.
• Immediate availability or available at short-notice.

This role could also be good for someone who is looking to come back from a career break or someone who is looking to work part-time (minimum 3 days per week). This role is based in London and the firm operates a hybrid working pattern.
