This is a Commercial In House role working for the National Crime Agency, based in either London or Belfast. Solicitors or Barristers specialising in Commercial Law with a minimum of 2 years PQE may apply.
Client Details
The National Crime Agency are currently recruiting exceptional solicitors and barristers specialising in commercial law. As an NCA officer in the legal team you will support the Agency's mission to lead the fight against serious and organised crime. You will be expected to use your legal skills and judgement to contribute to the strategic direction of the NCA and shape the legislative landscape by providing specialist commercial advice across all areas of the Agency. You will need to be able to think creatively to help manage legal risk in cases that are often novel, complex and challenging.
The Commercial and Employment Team handles a broad range of contentious and non-contentious work for the Agency. Ranging from public procurement advice, to advice in respect of large commercial contracts and intellectual property, the commercial work is varied and challenging.
Description
The successful candidate will be part of the Commercial and Employment Law Team and will provide commercial advice on a range of commercial matters. These include:- public procurement;
- commercial contracts;
- contract drafting, interpretation and management
- intellectual property.
***All NCA officers must hold SC Enhanced upon entry as a minimum. Profile
The following qualifications/skills are essential to the role and proof will be required at interview:- To apply for this role you must be a solicitor or barrister qualified to practise in England and Wales.
