The Role:
- This is a highly rewarding opportunity for a Healthcare Advisory Managing Associate to join the firm's L500 Tier 1 department in Newcastle, with hybrid working in place
- You will manage a diverse caseload which covers general healthcare matters including Mental Capacity Act/Mental Health Act matters; Court of Protection s21a challenges; drafting applications for DoLS authorisations; advocacy at inquests and court hearings; effectively representing NHS clients
- As a Managing Associate, you will take a lead role in the department, mentoring and supervising junior members of the team as well as working with other seniors in the department to shape your practice, your way
- You will also be given investment from the firm to progress on a clear route to partnership
The Ideal Candidate:
- An experienced Healthcare Solicitor with a minimum of 8 years PQE
- Experience in Court of Protection and Inquests work is essential
- Strong business development capabilities
- First-class communication and an entrepreneurial flair
