Disrepair Litigation Paralegal
Circa £30,000 - 33,000 per annum
1 year FTC, Maternity leave (prospects to become permanent)
London based, hybrid working
Sellick Partnership are working alongside a highly-reputable East-London based Housing Trust to recruit to a Disrepair Litigation Paralegal opportunity. The successful candidate must have experience of handling a caseload of Disrepair matters.
You will be paid around £33,000 per annum, dependent on your experience. There is opportunity for you to work from home 3 days per week, whilst attending the offices 2 days. This is an initial 1 year Fixed-Term Contract covering a maternity leave, however there is scope for this role to become permanent as they are an expanding team.
Key responsibilities of the Disrepair Paralegal:
- Handling a caseload of disrepair matters from initial instruction to completion
- Attending court to issue proceedings
- Preparing and reviewing disclosure packs
- Monitoring case settlements
- Related legal administrative tasks
Required skills of Disrepair Paralegal:
- A law or law-related degree (Essential)
- Experience handling a caseload of disrepair matters (Essential)
The client is open to any candidates who have held a disrepair caseload whether that be in Private Practice, Local Government or a Housing Association. On offer is flexible hybrid working, with the potential to progress within their expanding legal team. There is potential for this role to become permanent after the Fixed-Term is completed.
