Pensions Associate - This in an established department offering the successful candidate a real opportunity to push their career forwards. The award-winning pensions team of this leading national law firm is looking for an enthusiastic Associate to assist the more senior members of the team as well as handling their own matters.

  • Previous Experience: Ideally a broad range of experience of pensions work including advising trustees as well as corporate clients. Everything from benefit change projects to restructurings and winding-up. Litigation experience would also be ideal.

Lawyers in the department advise a raft of stellar corporate clients including 'blue chip' organisations on a range of matters from scheme valuation and funding solutions to significant buy-in / buy-out projects. The team also advises on complex pensions litigation.

Who they are looking for

The team is inviting applications from a broad range of PQE. Ideally you will have experience from a reputable regional or national practice or a specialist boutique firm. Experience advising corporate entities would be ideal. A thorough grasp of the technical aspects of pensions work is wanted coupled with a commercial, pragmatic solution-orientated approach.
