Risk & Compliance Paralegal

Our client, a top-tier law firm, are seeking a paralegal to join their Risk department for around 6 months.

Applicants will have knowledge of; 

• Carrying out conflict searches
• Researching new clients for CDD purposes and assisting fee-earners in obtaining the information and documentation required for this purpose
• Implementing and maintaining information barriers
• Performing legal and factual research tasks
• Assisting with ad-hoc administrative tasks, such as electronic file closures

Attributes/Skills Required

• Candidates must have strong academics and have completed a law degree or GDL and LPC (ideally a 2:1 and more than a pass for LPC or GDL)
• Previous paralegal experience is preferred
• Excellent drafting, presentation and communication skills
• Organised, with good time management skills and the ability to work to deadlines
• Proactive and resilient
• Team player
