We are working alongside a highly successful and expanding retail organisation who are seeking a company secretarial manager on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be based in the head office in North London and will provide support across a broad range of legal, administrative, company secretarial and governance matters.


Daily duties will include attending and taking minutes of board meetings and executive management team meetings, ensuring statutory registers and minute books for all group companies are maintained as well as ensuring timely and accurate filings at Companies House and with other relevant regulatory bodies as required. Further duties include assisting the internal team and external advisors in the preparation of relevant corporate documentation. A key aspect of the role will require you to prepare and administer service contracts, franchise documentation, manuals and KPI controls in relation to third-party franchisees and operators of the group’s restaurant business.


Candidates will have gained extensive experience of performing similar roles and duties throughout their career. A legal academic background is preferable as is experience with corporate litigation and shareholder disputes. A Firm grasp of the UK Company Act and corporate legal framework is essential. First class communication and organisational skills are a prerequisite coupled with the ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently. Any company secretarial accreditations are highly desirable.
