THE ROLE

We have a new vacancy for a Senior Legal Counsel 4 - 8 PQE to join an established in house team

You will be expected to provide both commercial and legal support to the business as follows;

Advising and drafting commercial agreements, customer contracts, SaaS agreements, partnership/joint venture agreements, reseller agreements, supplier contracts

Liaison with external counsel where the business operates (APAC; EEA; UK and US)

Advising on legal risk relating to software and/or service offerings

Data protection compliance, assisting with the Group's GDPR compliance strategy.

Updating standard terms and conditions for software and/or service offerings

Oversee the Group's intellectual property (IP) portfolio using external counsel to manage all trademark registrations.

Advising on IP matters relating to software and the delivery of SaaS

Provision of training on legal policies and procedures to the business teams

THE CANDIDATE

You will have relevant commercial, IT, SaaS experience

You will have ideally trained and qualified in the commercial/technology team of a leading city or regional firm

Knowledge of SaaS agreements is essential and knowledge of sophisticated services, IT/software/technology sector background is desirable.
