Locum Childcare Lawyer

Locum Childcare Solicitor – Remote Working – £50-£55 per hour umbrella – East Midlands

Venn Group’s specialist legal team are currently working with an established Local Authority in the East Midlands who are recruiting for a Locum Childcare Lawyer to join their legal department.

This is a full-time position however candidates with part-time availability may also be considered. The role is offered for a period of 3 Months with a possibility of a further extension and will be worked on a primarily on a remote basis with occasional attendance at hearings being a possibility.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within Local Government and Childcare Law.

Duties may include:

• Managing a busy and varied caseload of Childcare cases to include all pre-proceedings matters
• Advising at LPM and PLO meetings
• Performing own advocacy to include contested and final hearings
• Advising client departments on complex issues concerning Childcare Law
