Senior Legal Counsel

I'm working with an award-winning North West fintech group who are currently recruiting for Senior Legal Counsel to report into their well known Director of Legal & Risk. The business is looking for an experienced commercial lawyer who can manage the day to day responsibilities of the legal team as well as a more junior lawyer. There is excellent scope for progression to a Head of Legal opportunity for the right individual.

The Role:

- Advising the business on their commercial contracts, trademarks, IP, data protection , e-commerce, litigation and acquisitions;
- Ensuring the smooth running of the legal function and future growth of the team;
- Work will be international in nature;
- Managing disputes; and
- Working with the FCA on ongoing regulatory matters and monitoring changes in the regulatory landscape.

You:

- Experience commercial lawyer with at least 4 years PQE gained in some part in-house;
- Commercially aware with outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and influence key stakeholders;
- Excellent academics and training.
