A prestigious UK Law Firm is looking to hire a new Legal PA to work within their Commercial and IP team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an existing Junior PA looking for the step-up working at Partner and Counsel level and would be ideal for a candidate who has already had Partner exposure. Standard hours are 9.30am – 5.30pm, with PAs currently working 4 days in the office, 1 from home – a salary of up to £35,000 is on offer plus fantastic benefits.
Responsibilities for the successful Team PA will include accessing fee earners’ inboxes and checking voicemails upon request, preparing presentation slides and materials (sometimes in conjunction with business development for internal / external meetings and seminars, maintaining paper and e-filing systems and ensuring they are kept up to date, assisting with diary management, including setting up meetings and conference calls which often involves liaising with reception, room bookings, IT support and facilities, travel and accommodation arrangements using the firm’s preferred travel agency, completing the procedures of all accounts payments and expense forms, assisting fee earners and the department billing coordinator (if applicable) with all aspects of the billing process as required, assisting fee earners and risk management to obtain and collate client due diligence, ensuring that contact and client contact information is maintained and updated on InterAction and organising smaller BD events such as lunches, dinners and drinks and ensuring these activities are tracked in InterAction;
The successful Team PA must have previous Partner exposure within a law firm, in addition to having a CILEX or equivalent qualification. Candidates need to have excellent communication, organisation and written skills. A salary of up to £35,000 is on offer, plus fantastic benefits.
