This leading UK and international law firm, highly ranked for its real estate practice is seeking to recruit an experienced Associate to join its Social Housing team.
The well-established team, whose clients include multi-national corporations, public companies, professional partnerships, banks and financial institutions, specialise in the acquisition and development of affordable housing, and are involved in a number of key real estate areas in the affordable housing sector.
The successful candidate will be a Real Estate lawyer and will have experience of Development, Social Housing or Property Law. You will have a keen interest and desire to work in the affordable housing sector with clients with a clear charitable purpose.
As well as excellent career progression prospects, on offer is the opportunity to lead on or participate in projects including: acquisition of land for development of affordable housing; leading on all aspects of transactions (including drafting, negotiation, dealing with conditions precedent and completion); forward funding and forward commitment agreements for the development of housing; planning agreements, nominations and infrastructure agreements; management agreements and leases; joint ventures; lease/leaseback funding arrangements; commercial leases; dealing with the due diligence on development schemes; dealing with rectification work including variations to section 106 agreements, nomination agreements and title documents; and other associated property law work.
