A global construction and consultancy organisation has a fantastic opportunity for an interim construction lawyer to join their team on a 12-month fixed term contract basis. You will be at least 3yrs PQE and have previous experience working in construction gained within a private practice or in-house setting. Strong technical legal knowledge and a commercial understanding of the construction industry is a must.
You will have a varied commercial role with responsibilities including JCT and NEC forms of contract, carrying out risk reviews specific to consultancy appointments as well as NDAs, collateral warranties, PCG/performance bonds, and sub-contract/sub-consultant contracts. Strong knowledge of the construction act is essential.
