Corporate Law Associate / Head of Department - Remote Working
The Associate Director role:
- Innovative and award-winning law firm that pushes the boundaries is seeking to expand their Corporate Team.
- The firm prides it's self on offering bespoke legal services with a particular focus on fast growing companies and providing expert corporate law knowledge.
- The role will involve providing full day to day management of the two corporate solicitors, along with technical support, running your own caseload and playing a part within business development and marketing, (ideally utilising some of your own contacts)
- You will act for clients on transactions that range from £1million to £25 million including funding and business growth for mostly technology companies including fintech.
Types of work undertaken:
- Equity investment deals led by both angel investors and VCs (you'll be familiar with the BVCA model documents and common investment deal terms)
- Advance subscription agreements
- Convertible loan agreements
- Employee share schemes (a deep technical knowledge isn't necessarily required, but familiarly with the key features of such schemes is essential)
- M&A transactions
The ideal Associate Director
- Ideally, you be highly experienced corporate law solicitor with a minimum of 7PQE gained within a fast paced corporate team
- Expert knowledge of corporate law and especially Fintech and Healthtech sectors alongside people management and investment and funding for businesses that have exciting growth plans.
