Top 100 commercial firm is searching for a mid-level solicitor to join its recognised litigation, advisory and regulatory team.

Recognised as a market leader in the local government, health and social care sectors, the team predominantly act for various public bodies, as well as corporates and higher education institutions. This client base sees the team consistently deal with current socio-economic and political issues, which regularly raise novel issues, resulting in highly rewarding work. The team is well-ranked in the directories and valued for its pragmatic and commercial approach to matters.

The team is searching for a mid-level lawyer to work for several of the firm’s key strategic clients on commercial disputes and regulatory work. The hire can expect to be involved in breach of contract, negligence, fraud and mis-selling claims; corporate disputes; public procurement challenges; complex multi-jurisdictional and multi-party litigation; financial services disputes; judicial review; and advising regulators on challenges to enforcement action, responding to adverse events and the interpretation and use of powers. A demonstrable interest in public bodies is desirable.

Key requirements breakdown:

• England and Wales qualified, minimum 3 years PQE;

• Experience across a range of commercial disputes;

• Experience acting for / a demonstrable interest in public bodies is desirable;

• Can be based in the London, Bristol, Birmingham, or Leeds offices.
