Commercial Associate - Tier 1 ranked team - Surrey

BCL Legal is working on a great opportunity with a Legal 500 ranked team in Surrey who are looking for an ambitious lawyer to join their renowned commercial & technology practice. This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of a highly professional team, advising and assisting on a wide variety of high quality, commercial law projects.

The commercial & technology practice undertakes a very wide range of high quality commercial contract, advisory, IT and digital business related work. All members of the team advise on technology and commercial contracts including competition, consumer law, data protection, and franchising matters. The firm are active in all sectors, but sectors particularly focussed on include insurance, life sciences, retail and technology.

The team (and the wider firm) has a significant focus on international work and much of what they do has a cross border dimension.

The successful commercial solicitor will join a progressive and forward thinking law firm with a strong commitment to training and development.

Candidate Requirements:
· Qualified solicitor in England and Wales
· Commercial lawyer or IT lawyer looking to continue this type of work, or a specialist competition or regulatory lawyer looking to broaden your practice
· Exposure to commercial work gained through employment in-house or with a recognised UK law firm
· The structure of the team would most readily support an appointment at 1-3 PQE. However all applications will be considered
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
