An exciting opportunity has arisen with a respected high-street law firm in Kingston.
Several of the partners have very good backgrounds, including long stints at Legal 500 ranked practices.
Solicitor (6-month FTC)
Kingston upon Thames
£50,000 - £65,000
The firm has been established for over 150 years, and has an excellent reputation in the local area.
Due to high work levels, they are looking for a solicitor to assist their private client team for a fixed period of 6 months.
You will join a team consisting of the head of the department (solicitor), a senior associate solicitor, and several legal secretaries. You needn't worry about administrative support.
Your typical caseload will include:
- Wills
- Probate
- Tax & Trust
The workload you will take on will be gradually passed to you, to make sure you don't get over-run on your first day.
You'll be working in the office most of the time as you'll be required to take instructions from clients face-to-face in the office or from their home.
To apply for this role, you must:
- Be qualified as a solicitor or legal executive
- Have over 5 years of PQE working in private client (mixed practice backgrounds will be considered)
- Live within 45 minutes of Kingston
They are open to full-time or part-time hours.
The private client team are friendly, and the rest of firm are easy to talk to. They work with an open-door policy, so if you're unsure about something you can pop into anyone's office to ask a question.
