Our client, an internationally renowned Magic Circle law firm, are seeking a mid-level, non-contentious projects/project finance associate to join their market leading team.
The firm boasts over 5,500 lawyers over their 40 offices, and foster a collegiate atmosphere based on honesty, trust and integrity.
The firms projects group comprises some 250 lawyers with over 80 partners. Being recognised as a global leader in the field, they have consistently closed more project finance deals globally than any other law firm.
The Role
- They are looking for someone with experience of EPC, PPAs, other revenue contracts, concessions, and other commercial contracts, preferably in a project finance context.
- Strong project docs experience in all or some of the aforementioned, with a focus on actual greenfield project development matters (preference for sponsor side experience, but experience advising lenders, governments and contractors is also helpful).
- Industrial construction focused experience is good but real estate construction (e.g. commercial office buildings) doesn’t fit their practice and wouldn’t be of interest.
Requirements
- 3-5PQE Projects/Project finance solicitor, qualified in E&W, with experience gained from a similar leading national/international firm.
- The ideal candidate would have experience in hydrogen, carbon capture and midstream O&G.
- The firm will also look at more “pure” construction lawyers, but they will only be of interest at a more junior level (1-3PQE).
