Restructuring & Insolvency Lawyer

Our client is looking for an Associate/Senior Associate to join the well-regarded Restructuring & Insolvency team in London.

Lawyers undertake the full range of stressed and distressed advisory work, including advising on pre-insolvency operational and financial restructuring and turnaround. They also undertake insolvency work, including company voluntary arrangements, administrations, receiverships and liquidations. Clients range from clearing banks to corporates, to private equity houses and turnaround professionals.

The team's primary focus is non-contentious work, but candidates with more contentious backgrounds will also be considered. Senior Associates are encouraged to take leading roles on transaction delivery (with Partner support), and so some experience in leading transactions (and/or an enthusiasm to do that) would be desirable. Similarly, Associates and Senior Associates are encouraged to be out in the market and to build their contacts book; candidates who enjoy business development and building their own network are welcomed.
