This is a superb, rare opening direct from the lead partner at a growing and ambitious international law firm in the Caribbean.
Working on a broad range of disputes, including multi-jurisdictional insurance, insolvency, fraud, arbitration shareholder, trusts and general commercial litigation cases, you will get excellent responsibility and full access to an established client base including global corporates, banks and funds. Acting closely with a heavyweight litigation partner and in a well-structured disputes group, the team rewards on merit, and you will have excellent scope to progress your career and as much autonomy as needed, depending on your experience.
Applicants should be solicitors working at a respected international, City, West End, national or offshore firm and with a stable career background. We will also consider Barristers at well-known Chambers. Previous offshore experience is welcome but is not required. You must be England and Wales-qualified, or qualified in another Commonwealth country.
Experience in general commercial litigation or insurance litigation is sought. We are seeking a lawyer of between four to ten years' PQE, however we will consider strong applicants just outside of those levels.
Key attractions of working and living as a lawyer in the Caribbean include a premium tax-free salary, high-quality cross-border work, and a short commute to work, together with an outdoors lifestyle, world-class beaches and an excellent climate
Jameson Legal is a leading international recruitment consultancy. We are the experts for lawyers seeking to relocate to the offshore jurisdictions and are regularly instructed on exclusive and confidential opportunities. Philip Jennings, one of the senior Directors at Jameson Legal, is a former London Lawyer, and has over a decade of working closely with the key decision makers at law firms in the Caribbean and the Channel Islands.
To discuss this opportunity in more detail and in the strictest confidence, please submit your details or contact Philip Jennings, Director.
Jameson Legal acts as an employment business for temporary recruitment and as an employment agency for fixed term contract and permanent recruitment.
Please note: Where a level of experience, such as 'PQE', is indicated, please note that this is a guideline only and represents the amount of time we would usually expect a candidate to accumulate the requisite level of experience. This does not preclude applications from candidates with more or less experience
