A unique opportunity has arisen at a highly ranked firm within Leeds in a growing Housing Management team. My client's reputation is synonymous with high calibre legal advisory work and transaction management and presents the perfect opportunity for candidates with experience of working with social landlords to work for a true market leader in this particular area of property law.

The successful candidate will be involved in advising social landlords on housing management issues including, but not limited to:

  • Possession claims
  • Injunction claims
  • Cases involving the Equality Act 2010 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005
  • Breach of tenancy claims
  • Disrepair
  • Access injunctions for gas and electricity safety
  • Failed succession cases
  • Leasehold management advice
  • Service charge disputes

Due to the nature of the firm's clients and national legal affiliations you will gain exposure to complex, challenging and interesting projects. My client is particularly keen for applications from clients with previous experience of social landlords work / experience working on behalf of housing associations. In addition, the successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and will have a forward commercial thinking approach to their work.

Applicants must be qualified lawyers and be within commutable distance of my client's Leeds office (3-5 minutes walk away from Leeds Train Station). Excellent academics are essential along with an ability to multi-task and work collaboratively with other team members. This role is open to NQ lawyers in addition to candidates with relevant post-qualification experience.

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary (bespoke depending on experience) along with a solid benefits package, including favourable flexible/hybrid workings arrangements.
