Pensions and Trusts Disputes Associate - NQ + *£90K +

This top tier international law firm has a fantastic opportunity for a junior disputes lawyer to join its specialist pension disputes team.

The team sits within the firms market leading Employment, Pensions and Private Wealth practice, and handles a mix of highly complex and contentious pensions, investment, tax and trust related matters for a strong and diverse client base in the financial services sector, comprising employers, trustees and representative beneficiaries as well as in telecoms, transport, automotive, and pharmaceuticals to name a few. The team is well-known for its cross-border pension disputes work and has substantial experience in this technically challenging area.

Given the complex nature of the work, the successful candidate will be someone with first class academics, strong technical skills and an analytical mind. The role will suit someone who has gained experience in commercial disputes or professional negligence, and has some knowledge of trusts, pensions and/or tax and has a keen interest to move into this specialist area of disputes. Alternatively, you may be a pensions lawyer looking to diversify into more contentious pensions work. Experience gained at a global practice would also be of benefit, since the work will involve international elements.
