INVESTMENT FUNDS ASSOCIATE - LEADING OFFSHORE LAW FIRM - LONDON

Our client is one of the world's leading offshore law firms with a thriving network of offices in key locations around the world.

Its award winning, London based Funds team is seeking to hire an additional investment funds associate in the 4 – 8 years' PQE bracket for this role. Ideal candidates will come from England & Wales, Australia, Scotland, Canada, Ireland, Hong Kong, and/or New Zealand. 

Ideal candidates will have post qualification experience as an investment funds, regulatory or corporate lawyer gained in a top tier law firm.

3)     The successful candidate will have exposure to some of the best offshore legal work in the market and will work as part of, and be supported by, a highly successful and collegiate team.

4)     Four partners in the team including London Managing Partner.

5)     Flexible working arrangements with a 50/50 hybrid working model can be supported.

6)     A four day working week could be an option for the right candidate.

What will you be doing?

• Advising clients on a wide range of matters, with a particular focus on providing legal advice on formation, ongoing legal and regulatory compliance, restructuring and termination of different types of Cayman Islands investment vehicles, including hedge funds, hybrid funds and private equity funds
• Working with a client base that comprises primarily of leading European alternative investment fund managers, and their onshore counsel (magic circle/top tier firms)
• Engaging in business development activities, being active in the promotion of the firm and taking part in initiatives to take advantage of opportunities for new work
• Working as part of a team, including supervising junior lawyers’ work, and taking an active part in sharing knowledge and expertise within the team
