Our client is an elite US law firm - they are now looking to recruit a DEI Manager on a permanent basis to join their fantastic DEI team in the City.
The Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Manager is responsible for managing the firm’s diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, including the development of practices to recruit, retain and promote diverse attorneys and professional staff, and coordination of global firm efforts to support an inclusive culture.
This is a full time, permanent position, hours for this role are standard 9:30am-5:30pm. The client is currently operating a hybrid working pattern. The role will be paying up to £95,000 plus very generous benefits!

Your responsibilities as a DEI Manager:
- Interface and create accountability around firm DEI efforts with attorneys and professional staff
- Develop and manage innovative programs and policy updates
- Utilise metrics, including headcount and productivity reports, to produce data reports
- Coordinate responses to client requests and industry benchmarking surveys
- Manage, lead and grow affinity groups, including global programming
- Manage external diversity sponsorships
- Drive the firm’s diversity retention and promotion efforts
- Manage and execute diversity-related professional staff meetings, events and training
- Assist with the firm’s diversity hiring efforts
- Support communications by drafting content for, and updating, applicable promotional materials
- Strengthen partnerships with various diversity-focused organisations
Requirements as a DEI Manager:
- Direct experience with diversity and inclusion initiatives combined with managing those initiatives
- Previous law firm or professional services experience is essential
- Experience of managing a budget desirable
- Supervisory experience desirable
- Ability to travel, as required
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, iManage and other applications
