Our client is a prestigious US law firm - they are now looking to recruit a HR Manager to join their amazing HR team in London.

The HR Manager (trainee recruitment & development) is responsible for coordinating all activities and processes relating to the London office graduate recruitment and trainee Solicitors programme. You may also be involved in the recruitment of lateral associates.

The standard hours are 9.30am to 5.30pm. The salary on offer is up to £65,000 + generous benefits. This role is a 12-month FTC, and the client are currently using a hybrid working approach.

Responsibilities as a HR Manager will include:

  • Coordinate the hiring and on-boarding process for Open Day candidates, Summer Students and Trainee Solicitor candidates
  • Develop relationships with stakeholders at universities
  • Coordinate and administers all aspects of the first-year open day programme
  • Coordinate and administers all aspects of the summer vacation scheme
  • Coordinate and administers all aspects of the trainee interview process
  • Coordinate and administers all aspects of the firm’s informal work experience placements
  • Liaise with future trainees regarding attendance at law school
  • Acts as the first point of contact for any day-to-day queries from the Trainee population
  • Coordinate the seat rotation process alongside the Training Principal
  • Coordinate both the mid-seat and end-of-seat evaluation processes
  • Coordinate the NQ process alongside the Training Principal
  • Process secondment letters for all incoming and outgoing secondees
  • Coordinate Diversity Survey on an annual basis
  • Support the Senior HR Manager, as required, with coordination of recruitment activities

Requirements as an HR Manager include:

  • Minimum of 3 years of similar HR experience within a law firm
  • May consider HR Advisors looking to make the 'step up’
  • Experience of working within graduate recruitment and trainee development
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Proficient with MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
