Pensions Associate 1-3pqe
My client is a full service law firm with a particularly strong reputation in the private wealth sphere although the role will involve working with a broad range of clients including household names, long established family businesses and public sector entities (often schools and colleges) and charities.
The pensions team undertakes a wide range of work within the pensions sphere including advising the employers and trustees of defined benefit pension schemes, advising employers on auto-enrolment compliance and problems arising from this and assisting on corporate transactions and TUPE transfers. The group also undertake pension litigation including High court applications and Pensions Ombudsman claims.
Given the junior nature of the role my client is open to candidates that have limited exposure to pensions matters in both a contentious or non-contentious context, but that are willing to undertake work in both fields to develop their foundation legal skill-set. The new joiner will benefit with working from approachable, engaging and friendly Partners that are keen to play an active role in the develop of their associates.
The PQE mentioned is only a guide. Anyone with the necessary skills to succeed may apply.
