Senior Legal Counsel | Leading US Heavyweight Law Firm | London | Salary Dependent on Experience
A rare opening with a leading US heavyweight law firm for a Special Senior Legal Counsel to join their expanding London based IP advisory team; this role offers the successful candidate the chance to further their legal career in the Intellectual Property sector, working with and learning from the best.
The Firm:
- 140 people in the London office - 6 in IP.
- A close-knit team.
- Extremely high-profile and often novel work.
The Role:
As the new Senior Legal Counsel you will:
- Assist with IP advisory matters, as well as certain contentious matters to aid development.
- Provide IP support for corporate and commercial deals, particularly within the life sciences sector.
- Work with key clients such as AstraZeneca and Merck & Co (secondments opportunities with these firms).
The Candidate:
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales, with 8+PQE.
- Extensive experience and knowledge within the life sciences sector.
- Ideally (though not essential) qualification (such as Oxford IP diploma and/or qualification as a patent attorney).
