Head of Private Client - West End Law Firm

West End law firm with a broad based practice including property, litigation, company commercial and private client seeks to hire a senior private client solicitor for reasons of succession planning. The current department head will be retiring next year, and the search is on for an ambitious senior associate or partner to take over the department.  

The department currently provides advice on a range of private client matters including will drafting, probate and estate administration, estate planning and lasting powers of attorney. Candidates will have relevant experience gained in a London or good regional firm and will demonstrate strong man management skills and the ambition to take over a successful practice with good prospects for further growth.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and profitable firm and take control of an important area of the firm’s business. There will likely be an overlap with the current retiring partner to ensure a smooth transition of leadership.
