In-House Legal Counsel

Our client has an exciting In-House Legal Counsel position for a large pharmaceutical company working alongside senior legal Counsel. A pharmaceutical background is preferred but not essential as long as the candidate has excellent commercial experience.

The preferred candidate will require experience in the following:

• Drafting, reviewing and advising on commercial contracts (client and supplier), including non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), standard terms of business and bespoke contracts, along with associated contracts such as data sharing agreements, quality/technical agreements and providing support to the Senior Contracts Manager in connection with clinical development site contracts

• Assisting in understanding the legal implications of the commercial contracts they operate

• Advising and assisting the business on employment law issues

• Advising and assisting the Data Protection Officer in connection with data protection laws

• Advising and assisting relevant staff on legal matters relating to H&S

 • Development and implementation of the Group anti-bribery programme, where required

• Development and implementation of other legal compliance programmes, where required

• Assisting on corporate governance matters, including maintaining Group company statutory registers and administering filings to Companies House (and as required in non-UK jurisdictions), where required

This is a permanent position with an excellent salary package. Also incudes option of hybrid working.
