An attractive opportunity to work with one of the top Magic Circle Law Firms based in Belfast, conducting their search for a talented Corporate Commercial Solicitor to join its global in-house legal team. The opportunity presents a unique in-house experience, where high performance and embracing innovation are encouraged and recognised.

The Role: 

As the new In-House Solicitor you will be: 

• Negotiating, drafting and advising on high-value, complex commercial contracts with suppliers (including technology contracts) and dealing with a diverse range of internal stakeholders.
• Guiding on data privacy issues relating to commercial contracts and innovation projects.
• Counseling on the legal and regulatory implications of the firm's supply chain.
• Advising on the legal and regulatory implications of complex technical matters such as the firm's legal tech and innovation investments and strategies.
• Tracking and monitoring commercial contract-related activity within the team and maintaining associated documentation. 

About You: 

• Qualified Solicitor with demonstrable corporate, commercial or regulatory experience, with at least 1+ years' post-qualification experience.
• Strong communication skills at all levels, including liaising with internal clients and partners.
• Proven ability to work independently and proactively and to take the lead in project management and delivery.
• You will be Self-motivated with the ability to manage new and varied challenges.
• Strong excellent attention to detail.
• Possess an interest in technology and its application to legal problem-solving.
• Have a collaborative approach and the ability to work well in a team.
• Exposure working on international legal issues and/or providing in-house legal advice in a corporate/commercial setting.
• Experience of reviewing and drafting complex legal agreements or commercial contracts.
