Legal Counsel

This is a unique opportunity for a junior-mid level lawyer to join a world-leading data tech business; you'll have an immediate affiliation with them as soon as you understand the work they do. This opportunity has come about due to an internal promotion; you'll report into the Senior Legal Counsel that provided this mentoring and support to the promoted lawyer.

You'll work in an autonomous, hands-on role with a focus on technology, procurement and data protection. You will support and advise on a wide variety of legal matters including:

• Commercial agreements related to technology including SaaS
• Data protection and GDPR across the business
• Procurement - including technology and other necessary contracts

You will also liaise with external lawyers and stakeholders across the business.

This role is best suited to a junior-mid level lawyer (approximately 1-3 PQE); you'll have trained at a highly regarded law firm or have spent time in-house at a well-known tech/data processing business.

This may be your first role in-house, or you may have spent some time on secondment within a commercial organization. You will need to be bright, confident and an assured self-starter to thrive in this fast-paced environment.
