A market leading international law firm has an exciting opportunity for a Competition & Trade lawyer to join one of the largest Competition Teams in Europe, based in London, as a Senior Associate.

This role is an exceptional opportunity to join an international team comprising over 225 competition lawyers worldwide, working on cross-border transactional, advisory, and contentious work, in a role where client contact and international travel are encouraged from day one.

This opportunity is perfect for Associates looking to make the move up to Senior Associate and Senior Associates looking for a lateral move with a clear pathway to Partnership.

The Role:
Working closely with the firm’s highly rated Technology, Media, Life Sciences and Energy teams, this role shall comprise a balanced practice across transactional, contentious and advisory work, including:

• EU and UK mergers
• Competition investigations
• Competition litigation
• Behavioural advice
• Regulatory and trade work, including sanctions
• Public procurement matters, state aid and CMA consumer enforcement issues

The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have:

• 4 – 8 Years’ + PQE
• A solid background and experience/training in UK and EU competition law, a willingness to learn public procurement, state aid and/or trade law and a general desire for a balanced practice across the different areas of transactional, contentious and advisory work.
