Legal Contracts Manager (Remote or Hybrid) London

Our client is an innovative US software developer which has recently retransformed their legal department to provide efficient commercial legal advice. This newly created Legal Contracts Manager role will report to a recently appointed UK General Counsel where you'll focus on advising 40+ legal team members located across the UK, EMEA and APAC. This opportunity is offering the right candidate to work remotely or hybrid on the basis you can easily travel to the London office. For the right candidate, this business will support and encourage you overtime to become a fully qualified lawyer. 

The Role 
You will become a key point of contact for the business in the legal team by reviewing/drafting NDA's, negotiations on EMEA commercial transactions, review project proposals, legal questionnaire requests and maintain clear legal records relating to risk and contracts management.

The Candidate 
Ideally, you will have a minimum of 2yrs contract negotiation experience gain from either in-house or an established law firm required. Candidates must have a law degree, ideally be a qualified lawyer or aspire on becoming a qualified lawyer. Current In-House experience from an IT business would be advantageous as you'll need inner confidence with a good legal judgement to identify commercial risks to senior management and stakeholders.
