Employment Solicitor role offering, 2/3 days home working and plenty of autonomy along with a competitive salary! This role would suit a local Employment Solicitor who is looking to join a firm with genuine career progression prospects, who enjoys a new challenge, and who wants to be rewarded for effort and performance.
A superb opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor at Senior Associate or Partner level to join a highly reputable Legal 500 firm in Telford. Having placed the previous two Partners within this team around 5 and 7 years ago, I can say with a degree of certainty that this is a team that really values and rewards its employees. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Employment Solicitor from Associate to Partner level to develop the team Telford offering by harvesting their corporate/commercial client base, working closely with the partners in that office.
Why this role? Well, you will join the team comprised of three reputable employment partners. The partner who runs the team would work closely with you on a business plan to develop their Telford offering in mainly respondent employment work. The partner runs the team with a light touch, offering support when needed but does believe in giving senior people plenty of autonomy in their role. This partner also believes in working to fit around your life so can offer flexible working hours, days and hybrid working. The role also offers secretarial support and parking at the Telford office.
What are they looking for? The firm is looking for an Employment Solicitor around 8-10 years PQE. They are seeking somebody who has a background with a reputable Legal 500 or national firm who really does have the commercial awareness needed to develop the work. Our client is looking for somebody with a strong appetite for business development along with somebody who is willing to work closely with the senior partner to build and develop a clear business plan. The work itself is mainly respondent work and the aim of this new position is to build upon their corporate and commercial client base in Telford.
