Data Protection Solicitor

Our client who have an outstanding reputation are now seeking a data protection solicitor to join their specialist team in Edinburgh. 
  
Offering real career progression prospects and a friendly working environment, you will gain excellent exposure to a wide variety of data protection matters and work alongside a team a knowledgeable team.
 
You will be involved in working with clients across a host of sectors and will be responsible for;

• Drafting and negotiating data processing agreements and data sharing agreements
• Assisting with data protection audits and data protection impact assessments
• Drafting privacy notices, cookie notices and data protection related policies
• Researching complex data protection issues and assist clients processing freedom of information, subject access and all other data subject requests. 

The successful candidate will be qualified and ideally have gained experience in a similar position. Consideration may be given to those who are newly qualified, however you must have at least completed a 6 month data protection focused seat.
