A local authority based in London is seeking a Childcare Paralegal for an initial period of 3 months.
The successful Childcare Paralegal will be required to undertake the following duties:
- Support a team of childcare lawyers,
- Prepare bundles,
- Draft applications and witness statements,
- Assist with PLO matters,
- Liaise with counsel, social workers, and other key personnel and,
- Prepare S.7 and S.37 reports.
Previous experience working as a childcare paralegal is essential. You must have 6 months minimum experience as this role will require someone to hit the ground running and carry a caseload from the outset. Candidates with experience assisting a family department in the private sector are encouraged to apply.
This is a hybrid working role. You will need to attend the council offices on a weekly basis and for team meetings.
Due to the urgent nature of the role, we are seeking candidates available on no more than two weeks’ notice.
