A global legal firm is seeking an excellent Insolvency Litigation Lawyer to join their Insolvency Department at their London office to advise clients on all aspects of contentious restructuring and insolvency.

The Law Firm is an international firm with offices in more than 40 countries throughout the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific. Their insolvency clients include lenders, insolvency officeholders, government entities, trustees, shareholders, senior executives, as well as distressed debt and asset buyers.

Description

The key responsibilities of the Insolvency Litigation Lawyer include;

• Working with multiple jurisdictions to apply for recognition of insolvency
• Advising clients on court driven insolvency processes including petitioning
• Advising clients on Insolvency procedures and office holders' conduct and regulation;
• Undertaking work relating to protection against key customer and supplier insolvency.

Profile

The ideal Insolvency Litigation Lawyer will:

• Have excellent academics
• Ideally qualified in England & Wales or a Commonwealth jurisdiction with about 1-4PQE
• Have demonstrated experience working as an Insolvency Litigation Lawyer in Private Practice
• Have excellent written and oral communication skills
• Have excellent knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules
