Senior Data Protection Manager

A global insurer operating in the Lloyds market is searching for a data protection expert to provide high quality advice to the business in terms of DP requirements. This position will require you to provide leadership to a small team and offer a strong vision in a department which has previously been under resourced. You should have the ability to project manage, plan, remediate and strategise whilst being pro-actively hands on in your role. You will have strong organisational skills and be effective with senior stakeholders - able and prepared to challenge senior executives and deputising for the DPO as required.

This is likely to be a challenging role requiring dedication and hard work but you will also find it fun and rewarding. You don’t need to be a lawyer, but lawyers with a passion for data protection will certainly be considered. There is great support from the legal and compliance teams as well as the opportunity to manage, and good career prospects are on offer for anyone successful in this role. You should be available to work in the City office at least 2 days a week and have at least 5 years relevant experience.
