THE ROLE:
An opportunity has arisen within a reputable law firm in Nottingham to handle a varied caseload of construction matters on behalf of a range of clients including developers, commercial occupiers, funders, education establishments and building contractors. The successful Construction Solicitor will be responsible for both contentious and non-contentious matters with a particular focus on contentious related matters. The role of Construction Solicitor will also involve attracting new work, raising the profile of the department as well as ensuring targets are met. This is a key opportunity for a Construction Solicitor to work on some of the most prestigious developments in the region.

THE CANDIDATE:
You will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of dealing with a range of contentious and non-contentious construction matters. The successful Construction Solicitor will be well versed in all aspects on construction with a particular focus on contentious files and standard form contracts including JCT, NEC and PPC matters. Boasting experience in all aspects of dispute resolution including arbitration, litigation, mediation and adjudication. The appointed Construction Solicitor must be driven and determined and above all ambitious to succeed in this role and will ideally already be working in a well recognised national law firm or outstanding regional law firm. Innovative in your approach to business development and marketing the successful Construction Solicitor will be keen to make your mark. With a commercially focused approach, the Construction Solicitor will be driven and ambitious and be looking for position where you can really make your presence known.
