In House Legal Counsel

Based in impressive new offices, the legal team is at the heart of the commercial decision making within the business.


THE ROLE

To bolster the established legal team they now require a lawyer with a good range of legal and commercial skills to take on a responsible role within the business.

The range of work is diverse, and could entail large scale customer contracts and negotiations, supplier agreements, assisting with any corporate activity, intellectual property issues, marketing and advertising agreements and instructing external counsel generally wide ranging advice to the business. You will negotiate, draft and review customer, supplier and outsourcing agreements across the whole range of goods and services including business to business and business to consumer on the customer side, and IT, property and general services on the supply side


ABOUT YOU

This could suit a lawyer who is looking to make that first move in house, or perhaps is currently working for a company, but is looking for greater responsibility or connection with the business. Therefore, as well as commercial and corporate skilled lawyers, if you currently work in insolvency, litigation, property etc, and have a desire to move to a varied commercial in house role, this could be an exceptional opportunity and I'd be delighted to have a chat with you. This would probably suit a qualified lawyer from the NQ to 2 year pqe level.
