Document Production Legal Secretary – Sheffield – £20,000 - £25,000

This well-established South Yorkshire firm are looking for a Document Production Secretary to join their Business Legal Services Shared Services Team in their Sheffield office.

As the successful candidate you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administration to the departments wide range of high-quality document production.

The Legal Secretary will be capable of formatting document using a variety of software to an advanced level, including word, excel, PowerPoint and outlook to name but a few.

You will be required to create and edit documents using various templates, be able to use track changes and reformatting, and provide admin assistance with audio and copy typing, as well as other duties normally performed by a Legal Secretary.

Desirable key skills and experiences:
  • Experience of working as a Legal Secretary/Administrator in a solicitor’s practice.
  • Fast and accurate typing at least 65+ wpm.
  • Ability to draft non legal correspondence.
  • Ability to manage and organise large volumes of documents.
  • Confident in use of email and other systems in daily work.
  • Advanced document production skills to include accurate typing, spelling, grammar and proofreading.
  • Competent using Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint to an advanced level
