Are you Commercial Lawyer seeking to make the move In-House? Or a Legal Counsel seeking to transition into the fast paced ever changing logistics sector?
I have partnered exclusively with a UK based logistics company who are seeking to add a Legal Counsel to their team in Yorkshire.
They are one of the fast growing companies within logistics sector and transport goods for a variety of domestic clients.
About the role:
- You will be assisting the Commercial and Business Development departments in both contract negotiations and the drafting of commercial agreements.
- You will be expected to provide advice on a varying number of legal matters whilst offering support and reporting directly into a Senior Legal Counsel, with a focus on identifying and addressing legal risk across the company.
- Advising and addressing legal issues in respect of various matters including compliance, company projects and contractual disputes.
- Advising and drafting documents in relation to company claims.
About you:
- A qualified solicitor in England & Wales between 2-5 Years PQE
- Extensive experience of drafting and negotiating contracts
- In House experience would be advantageous, however, candidates from Private Practice are encouraged to apply.
