We are recruiting to a Housing Paralegal position to assist in busy Housing Litigation team within a well-regarded London Borough Council.
Our London Borough client is looking for a Housing Litigation Paralegal on a locum-basis, for an initial 3 contract, with likelihood to become on-going. The role offers predominantly remote, hybrid working throughout the contract. However, initially requires full-time office attendance for the first few weeks for training purposes. They are looking to pay between £22 - £26 umbrella per hour.
The successful Housing Paralegal will ideally have legal experience within a Housing/Litigation setting however they are flexible whether this is within the public sector or within private practice.
The responsibilities of the role will include, but not limited to:
- Assisting Housing Litigation Lawyers with their busy caseload of disrepair, possession, injunctions, homelessness etc.
- Handle a caseload of rent arrear claims
This role would be perfect for somebody with existing legal experience looking to progress in their career and work in a dynamic, friendly team whilst being a highly competitive hourly rate.
