This Data Protection Manager role can be worked remotely so will suit candidate located anywhere in the UK. The successful candidate will work closely with the Data Protection Officer and colleagues across the business as they manage and maintain the Data Protection Compliance Programme.

The company is global, with Head Quarters in the US and two offices in the UK.

Description

This Data Protection Manager involves:

Day-to-day management of our overall Data Protection Function and Capabilities, focused on maintaining the operations of our Data Protection Compliance Programme.Maintaining accurate Data MappingLead and maintain effective Data Governance across our businessManage and maintain Data Protection governance including: Policies, Standards, Processes and GuidanceLead on the development and delivery of Data Protection Training and Awareness for our businessLead on Data Protection monitoring and compliance including Internal AuditLead on Data Protection reportingAct as a key point of contact for our business for all Data Protection matters and in particular for our customers, authorities and regulatorsLead on improvement initiative and co-ordinate these across our businessLead on our Data Protection Annual Review

Profile

This Data Protection Manager requires:

- Data protection qualification desirable

-Proven experience within a related Data Protection role/field

-Day to day management of a Data Protection function and associated capabilities

-Previous experience of developing, delivering and maintaining data protection services that demonstrate organisational compliance with all relevant data protection laws and regulations

-Experience of working in a multi-national organisation is highly desirable.
