In House Counsel - Commercial Counsel

THE ROLE

This is an exciting new in-house role for a Commercial Solicitor 2 + PQE to join an established, well stucutred in house legal team

As an in-house Solicitor, you will be providing legal services to all areas of the business with a particular focus on data protection and commercial contracts.

As a team member, you will be responsible for advising the business on data protection relating to privacy and marketing issues and risks, drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, providing training to staff, working with the Data Protection Officer, and liaising with external counsel when required .

ABOUT YOU

A commercially minded lawyer 2 + pqe or equivalent, ideally with in house experience, you will have experience drafting, negotiating and advising on a variety of commercial and IT contracts

Candidates with experience of working with international stakeholders would be of particular interest

This role is ideally suited to an individual looking to work in a business facing role keen to broaden your commercial skills

The role offers flexible working arrangements with 3 days per week in the office
