Senior In House Counsel - Commercial/Data Privacy

THE ROLE

We have an in-house business facing role for an experienced commercial/IP/data privacy lawyer to join a high profile in house legal department

You will have primary responsibility for the following:

Drafting and negotiating client /supplier contracts

Risk management/compliance, develop, maintain and implement policies for the following sectors; corporate/commercial law, data protection, trade sanctions, bribery and corruption

Managing the Group's global insurance programme

Support key corporate projects, such as M&A activity,

Staff training in relation to legal, compliance and policy matters as necessary

THE CANDIDATE

To be considered for this role, you will have c 5+ PQE with an IP/Data Privacy/commercial background

You will be ready to make a career move to a new and exciting business facing role

You will have an excellent track record, with sound technical and commercial skills

Applicants will ideally have in-house legal experience, with an intellectual property law background and IAPP or equivalent data privacy certification or experience in data privacy compliance
