Legal Counsel- Cybersecurity

Leading cybersecurity company is looking to hire a commercial lawyer with 2+ PQE to join their growing in-house legal team based in Edinburgh (hybrid-working also available).

Role Profile:

• Reporting directly to the General Counsel, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the delivery of legal advice and support across multiple business areas and you will lead legal negotiations.
• You will have the opportunity to develop and expand your legal knowledge and how it applies to the cyber security industry. 
• You will advise on a range of commercial contracts and technology agreements. 

Candidate Profile:

• Qualified Solicitor with approximately 2- 5 years PQE and with experience of negotiating commercial contracts and technology agreements. 
• Experience and /or knowledge of data protection law, intellectual property law and corporate law would be desirable but not essential. 
• Strong interpersonal skills and the credibility to communicate effectively across levels and functions of the business.
