Job description: An established law firm with excellent benefits in West Yorkshire are seeking multiple Claims Advisors to join them on a permanent basis.

The successful candidates will be dealing with:

  • Receiving inbound calls and be the first point of contact for potential personal injury claims
  • Contacting clients within agreed service levels and providing advice and information on the claims procedure and that of the firm’s services
  • Accurately assessing claims for both liability and injury and preparing for submission
  • Providing an excellent level of customer care, ensuring that the right customer and business outcome is optimised and achieved
  • Dealing with Fast track RTA claims following process and best practice to progress the claim to settlement
  • Dealing with personal injury compensation claims at the outset and be competent of procedures and timescales and progress these claims in a timely manner to conclusion
  • Ownership of the client relationship and perception of the firm ensuring the right outcome is reached upon first contact on the majority of our contacts
  • Calling clients within agreed SLAs for each stage of the customer journey
  • Making outbound calls to customers and dealing with incoming telephone enquiries
  • Completing the claims notification form on behalf of the client and submitting to the Third-Party insurers within agreed SLAs to generate fee income
  • Ensuring all claims were conflict searched before they are accepted into Legal Services
  • Arranging medical appointments for clients with agreed providers
  • Obtaining all relevant information from new clients ensuring these are detailed correctly
  • Advising, informing and supporting onboarded customers through the claims journey to settlement
  • Providing a risk assessment of case prospects and injury statuses to support the filter of cases which should not be progressed
  • Reviewing medical reports and making recommendations for progression
  • Achieving individual and team objectives on a monthly basis as agreed with your team manager
  • Contributing to the smooth running of the firm by assisting other members of staff in periods of peak demand with document production, task list management and general administrative duties

It is essential that candidates applying for this role have worked in a customer service environment whether face to face or over the phone, with a proven track record in excellent client care. Additionally, the ability to remain objective and demonstrate empathy is essential.

Salary:  £19,000 - £20,000K plus benefits DOE

Hours per Week: 35 hours across Monday – Saturday, with a pre-arranged shift pattern
