RTA Paralegal / Litigation Executive

Small Claims Fee Earner / Paralegal / Litigation Executive - One of our leading national law firm clients is looking for an RTA fee earner to join the team on a fixed term contract from February 2023 to September 2023. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement with 1 day per week spent in the office and 4 days working from home.

  • Previous Experience: Proven litigated motor experience. Fast track and / or multi track experience would be ideal. Experience of cases involving Contractual Insurers, RTA Insurers, or Article 75 Insurers.

Our client is one of the leading names in insurance litigation and deals with some of the most high-profile names in the insurance industry. This team in particular focuses on more technical delegated and non-delegated work involving a mix of work involving Contractual Insurers, RTA Insurers, or Article 75 Insurers.

More about the role and who should apply

The role would be ideal for a candidate with technical litigated motor experience who is looking to gain experience working directly with several in-house teams of 'tier 1' insurers.

The team is looking for a candidate who can join the team for about 8 to 9 months to help managed litigated cases and add real value.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Assessing and developing strategy on given files dependant on fee structure
  • Liaising with client to agree strategy and approach
  • Negotiating with third party solicitors
  • Liaising with insured and insurers as well as brokers
  • Undertaking Court Hearings
