Associate - Trusts & Estates Disputes

The Role

The firm is looking to hire a solicitor with experience in contentious private client matters with 2-3 years PQE to join its successful City of London team.

Opportunities to join a Tier 1 ranked team such as this are extremely rare - with few firms offering work of this level of quality.

The team focuses on trusts and estates disputes. The work is mixture of international "big ticket" trust disputes as well as large probate/inheritance disputes, usually of a domestic nature. You will participate in complex and multi-jurisdictional cases.

As the department is experiencing an exciting period of growth, you will benefit from enhanced prospects for progression to Senior Associate and beyond.

You will be responsible in managing your own smaller cases while assisting the partners in undertaking the larger international disputes.

The role will involve an element of business development - providing you the opportunity to not only contribute to the continued growth of the department but also to develop your personal practice.

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with 2-3 years PQE
• Knowledge of contentious trusts & estates and inheritance act claims
• Efficient communication and ability to manage a complex workload
• Able to work independently and as a team
